Having been involved in offshore law since 2015, Rory has assisted on a unique array of transactional matters over the years, ranging from Jersey & BVI fund formations, U.S securities registrations and regulatory applications, to trusts, estate administration and wills.
Before joining Harneys Singapore in 2024, Rory spent time as an English Solicitor at a small Jersey law firm where his private client practice featured estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Delegations (Jersey equivalent of a Deputyship). Prior to this he qualified as England & Wales solicitor, having completed his training contract with Ogier Jersey in 2023, with experience gained in their Funds and Corporate teams.
Recently Rory has had a particular focus on the establishment of BVI approved managers, with a number of successful applications to the BVI Financial Services Commission.
