Before joining Harneys, Eltin worked for several years at Ireland’s largest law firm and for a decade at another leading Irish law firm. Eltin acted in leading constitutional law cases before the Supreme Court of Ireland and advised several multinational aircraft leasing companies in relation to a multi-billion euro dispute before the Commercial Division of the High Court of Ireland, one of the largest commercial cases ever to come before the Irish courts.
Eltin has lectured in commercial litigation at the Law Society of Ireland, is a former board member of the National Disability Authority of Ireland, was editor-in-chief of the Hibernian Law Journal, and is a published academic author.
Eltin undertook executive education programs in leadership and negotiation at Harvard Law School, Harvard University (2020) and at Judge Law School, University of Cambridge (2022-2023).
