Ben is admitted to practise in Australia and is a registered foreign lawyer in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Harneys in October 2023, Ben was a senior associate at a leading Australian law firm in its restructuring and insolvency group.
In addition to his time in law firms, Ben spent several years at Australia’s Westpac Bank acting on various performing and non-performing exposures. Given his time working across Westpac's commercial, institutional banking and credit restructuring teams, Ben has obtained a detailed understanding of the documentation, securities, and management of banking transactions, in addition to how financial institutions manage risk both in terms of performing and non-performing loans in a highly regulated environment.
