FATCA and CRS reporting deadlines extended

As a result of the extension granted by the US, the Cayman Islands DITC is now extending the FATCA reporting deadline for the 2019 reporting period to16 November 2020.
Under the FAQ published by the IRS (FAQ 5 under the heading Reporting) an extension of time for Model 1 IGA jurisdictions to provide their 2019 FATCA data to the United States competent authority was provided.
Due to applicable international deadlines being extended, the DITC has also extended the CRS reporting deadline to 16 November 2020, to bring it into line with the FATCA extension.
