On 29 October 2019, BVI Financial Services published the multilateral Memorandum of Understanding among regional regulatory authorities for the Exchange of Information and Cooperation and Consultation (the MoU).

The MoU intends to, inter alia, enhance the existing working relationship among the competent authorities in the participating jurisdictions.

The participating jurisdictions to the MoU are Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Curacaos and St Maarten, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Appendix A of the MoU lists the contact persons of the various regional competent authorities.
