On 28 May 2019, the Board of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) requested comments on a consultation paper that describes the issues associated with crypto-asset trading platforms (CTPs) and sets forth key considerations to assist regulatory authorities in addressing these issues.

IOSCO proposed numerous recommended actions for regulatory authorities to use in order to deal with these considerations and linked dangers.

Comments on the consultation paper must be submitted by 29 July 2019.
