Harneys wins several Deal of the Year Awards from China Business Law Journal

Harneys has won a number of Deal of the Year Awards from China Business Law Journal for its expertise in debt and equity capital markets.

The deals
  • J&T Global Express’s Hong Kong IPO: Acting as Cayman Islands legal counsel to J&T Global Express Limited on its successful initial public offering with an offering size of HK$3,918.6 million (approximately US$500 million).
  • Pioneer Reward US$3 billion medium term note programme: Acting as BVI counsel in respect of the establishment of Pioneer Reward Limited's US$3 billion guaranteed medium term note programme to be listed in Hong Kong and Singapore, and its issuance of US$800 million 5.25 per cent notes under such programme listed in Hong Kong.
  • Chindata privatisation: Acting as Cayman Islands counsel to APG Asset Management N.V. in relation to the going-private transaction of Chindata Group Holdings Ltd.
  • AAG Energy take-private: Acting as Cayman Islands legal counsel to AAG Energy Holdings Limited on its take-private transaction valued at approximately US$347 million.

These China-focussed deals were led by partners in the firm’s Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. The AAG Energy deal also involved seamless collaboration with partners from the firm’s Cayman Islands office.
