Harneys wins IFR Asia Turnaround Deal of the Year Award
Harneys has won the Turnaround Deal of the Year Award 2020 from IFR Asia for its work on China Shuifa Singyes Energy Holdings’ debt restructuring.
Harneys advised China Singyes Solar Technologies Holdings Limited, a curtain wall installation, solar engineering and construction company incorporated in Bermuda and listed in Hong Kong, on the successful restructuring of over US$552 million outstanding bonds and convertible notes through inter-conditional parallel schemes of arrangement in Bermuda and Hong Kong. Head of Harneys EMEA and Asia Pacific Restructuring practice, Chai Ridgers, led the Harneys team with assistance from Jayson Wood, Partner and Head of Harneys Cayman Islands and North America Restructuring team, along with Senior Associate Charles Wong.
