Harneys wins Deal of the Year: High Yield Award from IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2022

Harneys is delighted to announce that it has won the Deal of the Year: High Yield Award from IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2022. The Awards celebrate the region’s most legally innovative cross-border deals, highlighting those which break new ground, set legal precedent, and enhance the legal environment for cross-border finance.

Harneys acted as Cayman and BVI counsel to Kaisa Group Holdings Ltd, a mainland China property developer listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, in its issuance of US$500 million 11.7% senior notes due 2025 and concurrent exchange and tender offer to refinance existing medium to long-term offshore debt.
