As the Chairman of the Executive Committee and one of the leading corporate lawyers in the British Virgin Islands, Peter Tarn specialises in all aspects of the jurisdiction’s corporate law. He works with major financial institutions and corporations throughout the world.
Prior to joining us in 1997 and becoming a partner in 2000, Peter worked in emerging market debt at Allen & Overy. He now sits on several BVI Government advisory committees and is active in the IFC Forum providing authoritative information on the role of international finance centres in the global economy. Peter further works to promote the BVI’s financial services industry by serving on the Board of Directors for BVI Finance Limited.
Peter has been influential in BVI legislation, including the introduction of the BVI Insolvency Act 2003 and the BVI Business Companies Act.
